This is a practical workshop where you learn how to make patterns for a classic pump, translating your design idea on a shoe last.
This workshop is the next step after an INTRODUCTION TO SHOEMAKING course where you learn the basics of shoe making, getting familiar with terminology, anatomy of the shoe, components, tools and equipment.
Suggestion before the workshop- think of your design idea and bring things that inspire you to translate them into a pump :) The pattern table is our playground and while learning the basics you might as well spice up your creation adding a character into it.
Classes are small- no more than 2 students and are held in my studio in Montréal, one block from Metro Mt-Royal.
Time: 10:00- 15:00
A selection of shoe lasts in size 37 to use during the course (possible to have other shoe sizes upon request)
